What this stores, and what it doesn't

Last updated 16 August 2026.

Short version: there is no account, no login, and nothing to sign up for. Running an estimate stores the idea you typed and the estimate it produced, so the tool can be improved and so you can share a slip if you choose to.

Stored when you run an estimate

Never stored

What it is used for

Stored data is used for two things only: generating the estimate you asked for, and improving the accuracy of the tool. It is never sold, rented, or traded, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

Email

The waitlist button records that someone was interested. An email is optional; if you give one, it is used to tell you when teams go live and for nothing else. It is not sold, and there is no newsletter.

Sharing

An estimate is private until you press “Share this estimate”. That makes that one slip readable by anyone with the link, and only that one. Everything else stays unreadable to visitors.

Where the data is held

Estimates are stored in a Supabase database in AWS's ap-northeast-1 region (Tokyo). The server code that receives an idea and returns an estimate runs on Netlify in us-east-2 (Ohio, United States). Idea text is sent to Anthropic's API in the United States to produce the estimate. So an idea typed here is processed in the United States and stored in Japan.

Third parties

Anthropic receives the idea text to produce the estimate. Supabase stores it. Netlify hosts the site and runs the server code. If advertising measurement is enabled, Google's tag records that an estimate or waitlist click happened — never the content of your idea.

Removal

Email abhimanyu.narasimham701@gmail.com with the link or the idea text, and it is deleted — including a shared slip. There is no account to close.

Status of this policy

This describes current practice for an early-stage product, written to be accurate rather than exhaustive. It will be formalised as Foundco grows, and material changes will be posted on this page.
